Player of the Week: Jason Smith, quarterback, McGill-Toolen High School

Jason Smith finished the night 10-of-15 passing for 171 yards and three touchdowns. He added 98 yards on the ground in a 29-28 victory. The final drive of the game is where the Auburn commitment demonstrated his skills under pressure. Down 28-21 with a minute remaining in the game, Smith marched the Yellow Jackets down the field completing four-of-five passes for 53 yards. He also had 11 yards on the ground. He threw a 17-yard touchdown pass with eight seconds remaining in the game. He ran in the two point conversion to take the lead.

Cam Jackson, quarterback, Davidson High School
Jackson rushed for 252 yards and three touchdowns in a 29-28 loss to McGill-Toolen. He also completed 13-of-15 passes for 96 yards.

Tyler Crumpton, wide receiver, Phillips High School
Crumpton had eight receptions for 284 yards and five touchdowns in a 62-25 win against Vina. He also added 18 tackles on defense.

Tyler Camp, quarterback, Phillips High School
Camp completed 12-of-21 for 351 yards and five touchdowns. He had 13 rushing attempts for 74 yards. He also returned a kickoff 65 yards for a touchdown

Quinterris Toppings, quarterback, Blount High School
Toppings was perfect on the night completing 17-of-17 for 258 yards and a touchdown in a 24-14 win against Murphy.

Michael Leverett, athlete, Millry High School
Leverett scored four touchdowns for the night with two rushing, one receiving and one on a fumble return. He also had two sacks in a 46-13 win against Leroy High School.

Connor Short, quarterback, Hoover High School
Short completed 20-of-27 passes 282 yards and six touchdowns in a 55-7 win at Northridge High School. He played only one series in the second half.

Eli Beall, running back, Pelham High School
Beall had 22 carries for 240 yards and one touchdown in a 35-14 win against Mountain Brook High School.

Blake Slayton, running back, Hartselle High School
Slayton rushed for 203 yards on 26 carries and touchdowns in a 21-14 win against Cullman High School. Slayton scored the go-ahead touchdown with three seconds remaining in the game to keep the defending state champs still undefeated.

Tyler Rogers, running back, Mobile Christian High School
Rogers rushed for 350 yards and three touchdowns in a 40-21 win against Flomaton High School.

Jeremy Johnson, quarterback, Carver High School in Montgomery
The Auburn commitment completed 14-of-21 for 301 yards and three touchdown passes in a 47-27 win against Opelika High School. He also rushed for 81 yards.

Fred Hicks, linebacker, Valley Head High School
Hicks recorded 19 tackles, three tackles for loss and blocked a field goal attempt with a minute left in the game to secure a 28-27 win against Pisgah High School.

Tyler Vann, quarterback, North Sand Mountain High School
Vann completed 12-of-14 passes for 321 yards and five touchdowns in a 65-38 win against Gaston High School.

Casey Wood, quarterback, Boaz High School
Wood completed 18-of-19 passes for 300 yards and three touchdowns. He also had 61 yards rushing and three more scores in a 45-10 win against Scottsboro High School.

Luke Bailey, quarterback, Fairview High School
Bailey completed 17-of-22 for 378 yards and five touchdowns in a 55-26 win at Locust Fork High School. He also rushed for 47 yards and a score.

Jemarcus Brown, running back, Pickens County High School
The 2015 prospect rushed for 269 yards on 16 carries and scored five touchdowns in a 46-0 win against Brilliant High School.

Kartez Carr, running back, St. Clair County High School
Carr rushed for 231 yards and three touchdowns in a 31-28 win against Guntersville High School. He also scored on two two-point conversions.
