Pac-12 coaching moves affect Duck recruiting
Boise State head coach Chris Petersen met with Washington athletic director Scott Woodward at a Boise hotel Thursday evening, just a few days after interviewing for the USC job and passing on it.
The meeting lasted 90 minutes, according to reports from the Seattle Times and Idaho Statesman. A prominent Bronco booster, Travis Hawkes, said the coach, who's achieved 4 top ten rankings and a pair of Fiesta Bowl wins over Oklahoma and TCU, was likely to remain at Boise. He's scheduled to make $2.3 million next year, with a $750,000 buyout.
