Macks final five

Lyndell Wilson, five-star linebacker from Carver High School in Montgomery, Ala., considered announcing a decision this week. He decided to hold off his commitment with coaching changes which included Kirby Smart leaving Alabama as the defensive coordinator to become the head coach at Georgia.
"My final five in order right now is Florida, Bama, LSU, USC and Georgia," Wilson said. "I am not sure right now when I will make my decision. The important factors for me are academics and how I bond with the coaches and players. Playing time is also very important to me."

Wilson gave his thoughts on each school.
Florida: "It's a great program. They have great coaches. It felt like a second home to me when I visited them this summer."
Alabama: "It's one of those schools that has recruited me since the ninth grade. Every time I go there I enjoy myself. It's a great atmosphere."
LSU: "They have great coaches with Coach Les Miles. They have great players. Louisiana has a great fanbase. It's a great place to play football with great academics."
USC: "They just hired Coach Clay Helton. I heard he is a great coach. I want to make sure I take an official visit there. I want to give them a chance to recruit me."
Georgia: "They just hired Coach Kirby Smart. We have a real close relationship. I think he will be able to make an impact there. I can't wait to take my official visit there."
The five-star prospect has yet to schedule any official visits. He will travel to Atlanta on Saturday for the SEC Championship between Alabama and Florida.
"I think it will be a great match-up defensively," Wilson said earlier this week. "They are the No.1 and No.2 defense. I think it will come down to specials teams play. Whoever is successful in special teams will win the game. I think it's a great match-up. I am 50-50 on who I think will win."
