Stars of Alabama: Week 6

Player of the week: Jeremy Johnson, quarterback, Carver High School (Montgomery)
Jeremy Johnson played at a very high level last Friday night helping Carver knock of previously undefeated Auburn High School, 46-20. Johnson completed 11-of-18 for 248 yards and two touchdowns. He had 10 rushing attempts for 114 yards and three touchdowns. Johnson is an Auburn commitment and the current front-runner as AlabamaVarsity.com's Player of the Year.





Other top performers:

Brontae Harris, cornerback, Hanceville High School
Harris recorded for interceptions including one for a 90-yard touchdown in a 12-0 win against Winfield. He also had 116 yards rushing on 14 attempts and another score.
Zavier Carmichael, cornerback, St. Paul's Episcopal High School
Carmichael recorded three interceptions in a 31-21 win against Spanish Fort High School.
Brandon Peters, running back, Williamson High School
Peters rushed for 305 yards on 17 carries and four touchdowns in a 34-21 win against Faith Academy.
Shaquille Law, athlete, McIntosh High School
Law returned an interception 62 yards for a touchdown, returned a fumble 72 yards for a touchdown, had a kickoff return 80 yards for a touchdown, and had a 38 yard rushing touchdown in a 40-31 win against Fruitdale High School.

Lee Brascom, running back, Enterprise High School
Brascom had 18 rushing attempts for 229 yards and a score in a 37-37 win against Northview High School.
A.J. Travis, running back, Northside High School
Travis had 344 yards rushing on 24 carries and seven touchdowns in a 50-46 win against Sipsey Valley High School.
Terrence Deloney, running back, East Lawrence High School
Deloney had 314 yards rushing and 102 yards passing in a 42-35 win against Priceville High School. He had four rushing touchdowns and two passing touchdowns.
Terrance Hollingsworth, running back, Berry High School
Hollingsworth rushed for 300 yards and five touchdowns in a 46-20 win against Brilliant High School. He added 10 tackles on defense.
Mitch Stults, quarterback, Hamilton High School
Stults passed for 236 yards and four touchdowns. He rushed for 100 yards and a touchdown. He also had a fumble return for a touchdown and seven tackles on defense in a 56-49 win against Vinemont High School.
Diantae Thomas, quarterback, Dothan High School
Thomas had 124 yards rushing with two touchdowns including the game winner in a 28-24 win against Daphne High School. Thomas dislocated his shoulder in the fourth quarter, but came back in the game to lead the team to victory. He also had 67 yards passing.
Robert Smith, running back, Slocomb High School
Smith rushed for 236 yards and four touchdowns in a 28-25 win against Abbeville High School. He had three touchdowns in the second half as his team trailed 26-6.
